Irene was born in Malawi but grew up in State College, PA. (Go Nittany Lions!) Irene moved to Maryland and grew up in the Derwood area. She attended Magruder High School and The University of Maryland, College Park. Irene has worked as a childcare professional in Montgomery County for 10+ years before creating her own childcare program. 

As director and lead teacher, Irene possesses the following childcare certifications: 

  • 45 Hours Infants & Toddlers Course
  • 45 Hours Preschool Course
  • Level 3 Child Care Credential 
  • SIDS Training
  • CPR/First Aid
  • Medication Administration Training
